Hunting Safety Tips: Reminders

If you’ve got Cannonsatellite.com internet or a good map you’re likely well into planning out all your fall weekends here in Kansas. There’s never a better time (or a more legal one) to get out and get your hunt on and though it’s exciting, don’t forget these general safety tips
Wear Your Vest: Yeah it’s flashy and uncomfortable but if you’re going to be out in the woods you need to be easily identifiable. If you don’t have one you can get one secondhand online or even at a local sporting goods store.
Take a Phone: You’ll need some way to communicate with people back home in case of an accident or if you get lost. What if it starts to lightning or if you fall and break a bone? It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Get Your License: If you’re going to be hunting you need a license as it ensures you know what you’re doing with a shotgun. It’s illegal to hunt without one and they’re cheap and easy to obtain so follow the law.
